The San Lucifero church features a two-level facade with an oculus, rectangular openings, and granitic columns framing the main entrance point.
The church structure was built between 1646 and 1682 on the site of a Roman necropolis where early Christian martyrs were buried.
The interior contains three chapels within a single nave and displays a Baroque gilded altar with a Virgin statue by Giuseppe Antonio Lonis.
The church opens daily from 07:30 to 09:30 and 17:00 to 19:30, with access through buses 6, 29, 30, or 31 stopping at Dante station.
The facade displays the city coat of arms flanked by two dog statues representing the Dominican order that managed the temple for many years.
