Santa Caterina church features a monumental stone façade with numerous statues, including Saint Teresa above the main entrance portal.
The church construction began in 1563, following the relocation of nuns from their former monastery outside Verona's walls due to Venetian Republic regulations.
Eleven oil panels depicting the Stories of Saint Catherine, painted by Biagio Falcieri and Domenico Brusasorzi, decorate the church interior.
