兔川寺, Buddhist temple in central Matsumoto, Japan
Near the entrance of Zenkyu-In Temple stand six Buddhist statues alongside one additional statue positioned in the adjacent cemetery grounds.
The temple relocated to its current location in 1656 following directives from castle lord Mizuno Tadahito, marking a significant period in local religious development.
The temple contains multiple cabinets displaying carved figures of Buddhist saints, devotees, and deities, representing different aspects of Buddhist religious practices.
Located at Fukashi 3-Chome in Matsumoto, the temple sits approximately ten minutes east of Matsumoto Station, providing convenient access for visitors.
The temple houses a large bronze bell from 1699, which remains the sole surviving Edo Era bronze bell in Matsumoto City.
