Arima Toys & Automata Museum

The Arima Toys & Automata Museum exhibits a collection of mechanical dolls, traditional toys, and tin trinkets across multiple display rooms.

The museum commenced operations on July 19, 2003, becoming a central point for preserving and displaying both Japanese and international toy artifacts.

The exhibits present the evolution of toy manufacturing techniques and design preferences through different periods of Japanese and global history.

Located four minutes from Arimaonsen Station, the museum welcomes visitors from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM with entrance fees of 800 yen for adults.

The museum features operational mechanical toys that visitors can activate, demonstrating the intricate mechanisms of historical automata.
