Showa Retro Packaging Museum, Retro packaging museum in Sumiechō, Japan.

The museum displays a collection of product packaging materials from 1955 to 1965, including candy wrappers, medicine boxes, and tobacco containers.

The museum opened in 1999 in a former furniture store building from the 1920s, now designated as a Tokyo Metropolitan Government architectural structure.

Exhibits reflect consumer trends during the Showa period through various product designs, alongside traditional folklore displays about the Snow Woman legend.

Located four minutes from Ome Station, the museum opens Friday through Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM, with admission at 500 yen for adults.

The second floor features works by movie billboard artist Bankan Kubo and an exhibition dedicated to Koizumi Yakumo's Snow Woman story.
