Musashinonomori Park

Musashinonomori Park is a major green space in Tokyo that spreads across the border area where three cities meet. It features multiple pathways for walking and jogging alongside sports facilities for outdoor recreation.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Park Association opened this green space in 2000 as a new recreational area in the city. Its location next to Chofu Airport became an important feature of the site's geography.

The park brings together Japanese garden design with sports facilities that serve the community. Walking through it, you notice how nature and exercise spaces blend into daily life.

The park has two parking areas for visitors who arrive by car, though spaces can fill up quickly during weekends. Wear comfortable shoes for walking, as the pathways cover a large area.

The park served as the starting point for the cycling road races during the 2020 Olympics. This made it a key location for one of the world's most watched sporting events.
