Inagi Bridge, Road bridge in Inagi, Japan
Inagi Bridge is a road bridge connecting the cities of Inagi and Fuchū across a river in western Tokyo. It carries traffic from two major roads: the Kanagawa Prefectural Road and Tokyo Metropolitan Road Route 9.
The bridge was built in 1997 and greatly improved transportation connections between Inagi and Fuchū. It originally charged tolls before this fee system was eliminated in 2010.
The bridge functions as a central meeting point for residents of both Inagi and Fuchū cities during local celebrations and community gatherings.
The bridge is easily accessible and serves as an important transportation route through western Tokyo's metropolitan area. You can use it when traveling between the two cities or exploring the local road network.
The bridge ceased its toll operations on March 31, 2010, transforming into a free passage connecting multiple neighborhoods of western Tokyo.
