Keio Floral Garden Ange, Botanical garden in Chofu, Japan
Keio Floral Garden Ange was a botanical garden in Chofu featuring themed sections such as a Magnolia Garden and Rose Garden, alongside water features and planted areas. The site offered visitors the chance to experience different flower varieties and garden styles within a compact setting.
The site was founded in 1956 as Tokyo Iris Garden and evolved over the following decades under different names and management. It eventually closed in 2021 and the land was repurposed for a new development.
The garden integrates European landscaping principles with Japanese garden design, reflecting a fusion of horticultural traditions from both regions.
The garden was conveniently located next to Keio-Tamagawa Station, making it easy to reach by train. Visitors should be aware that the facility is no longer accessible as it closed in 2021.
The facility closed permanently in May 2021, with plans to transform the area into a new development project in cooperation with Chofu City.
