Mount Sengen, Mountain summit in Sengenchō, Japan.

Mount Sengen rises 79.7 meters above sea level within Sengen'yama Park, providing views of the surrounding Fujiyoshida City and neighboring landscapes.

The Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine, established in 705 near Mount Sengen, received visits from Japanese emperors during periods of volcanic activity in the region.

The mountain area includes the Memorial Pagoda for the War Dead, constructed in 1962 to commemorate 1,055 local residents through annual September ceremonies.

Visitors can reach Mount Sengen by taking the Fujikyuko Line to Shimoyoshida Station, followed by a 20-minute walk through Sengen'yama Park.

The mountain features 398 steps known as Sakuya-hime Stairs, extending 200 meters upward to observation points overlooking Fujiyoshida City.
