The walkway outside the entrance is modelled on the course of Epsom Racecourse, Tokyo Racecourse's sister track, and is nicknamed the Epsom Promenade. Inside, the Hall of Fame displays honoured horses separately from trainers and jockeys, a split introduced with the 2009 extension.
