Sekido Bridge

Sekido Bridge is a steel structure that spans the water and links different parts of Tama together. The crossing features separate lanes for cars and pedestrians, with strong railings and a straightforward design suited to daily use.

The bridge opened in the 1970s to join two separated areas of Tama and improve road connections in the region. It became a key link for developing new neighborhoods across western Tokyo.

Throughout the year, local residents gather near Sekido Bridge during regional festivals, turning the crossing into a center for community celebrations.

There are wide, level walkways on both sides of the bridge that are easy for anyone to use on foot. Several bus stops and a nearby train station make arriving here straightforward and accessible.

Photographers frequently position themselves along the riverside paths to capture the bridge's reflection in the water during sunset hours.
