Enkikan

Enkikan is a wooden residential building in Ichibanboridōri-chō featuring traditional design elements. The structure displays deep verandas, sliding doors, and tatami-matted rooms throughout its interior.

The house was completed in 1908 when Japan was incorporating international architectural styles into residential design. This period marked a shift as traditional Japanese and Western influences merged in domestic architecture.
