Kobe Fashion Plaza

Kobe Fashion Plaza is a modern shopping and cultural center with multiple floors in Kōyō-chō Naka. It combines retail spaces with museum areas and features rotating fashion exhibitions alongside art installations.

Architects from Showa Sekkei and construction company Taisei Corporation designed the building, which opened in 1997. Since then, it has served as a space where retail and cultural programming coexist.

The complex houses two museums focused on fashion and contemporary art, allowing visitors to encounter both current collections and exhibitions that reveal how design trends have evolved.
