Toyomibashi

Toyomibashi is a steel arch bridge spanning the Sumida River in Tokyo's Nihonbashi district. It carries traffic across the waterway and links different parts of the city together.

The bridge was built between 1997 and 2004, replacing an older drawbridge with limited load capacity. This project was part of modernizing Tokyo's busy business district.
