Nagai Uminote Park, Public park in Yokosuka, Japan.
Nagai Uminote Park spans across green hills with gardens and recreational spaces overlooking Sagami Bay and Mount Fuji in the distance.
The park grounds were established as a community gathering space, transforming former agricultural land into a public recreational area in Kanagawa Prefecture.
From December through March, the park holds the Nanohana Festival, where fields of yellow rapeseed flowers cover the hillsides according to Japanese gardening traditions.
Visitors can reach the park via Keikyu Electric Railway to Misakiguchi Station, followed by a direct bus service to the main entrance.
The summer season brings 100,000 sunflowers to the park's fields, creating a natural display visible from multiple observation points across the grounds.
