浅水城, Japanese castle in Aomori Prefecture, Japan.

Located in northern Japan, Asamizu Castle features stone walls and traditional defensive architecture on a strategic hilltop position overlooking the surrounding valleys.

The castle served as a military stronghold during the Edo period, controlling trade routes and defending the northern territories of Japan in the 17th century.

The castle design reflects traditional Japanese construction methods, with wooden structures and stone foundations typical of northern Japanese fortifications.

Visitors can reach the castle ruins through a marked hiking trail that winds through the forested hills of Aomori Prefecture.

The castle foundations and remnants stand as one of the northernmost examples of Japanese castle architecture from the feudal period.
