The Garden Oriental Osaka, Modern reception hall in Miyakojima Ward, Japan
The Garden Oriental Osaka is a modern event venue with a main building offering spacious interior rooms surrounded by a Japanese garden featuring a tea house and flowing stream. The facility blends contemporary architecture with traditional Japanese garden design.
The building was designed in 1959 by architect Kenzo Takekoshi and originally hosted a conference between Japanese and American city mayors. It later transformed into a venue for weddings and celebrations.
The grounds include a traditional tea house called Nisuitei in the eastern garden, where visitors can observe quiet rooms and classical Japanese design elements. The architecture and carefully arranged spaces show how important harmony and simplicity are in Japanese culture.
The venue sits near three train stations, with Osaka Castle North Gate just a 3-minute walk away as the closest option. Kyobashi and Osaka Business Park stations are also easily accessible for visitors arriving by rail.
The facility operates under a special policy of hosting only one wedding ceremony per day, ensuring complete privacy for each couple. This approach sets it apart from other venues that manage multiple celebrations simultaneously.
