Sakuranomiya Park

Sakuranomiya Park extends along the Okawa River banks, featuring 4,700 cherry trees that create pink tunnels during spring bloom season.

The park, established in March 1923, transformed from a castle town area into a green space that connects multiple districts of Osaka.

During spring, locals gather under cherry trees for hanami celebrations with food stalls and traditional activities along the riverbank.

The park maintains multiple entrances near Sakuranomiya Station, offering free access and facilities for visitors throughout all seasons.

Visitors can experience cherry blossoms from different perspectives, including elevated bridge views and boat rides along the Okawa River.
