Chino Cultural Complex

The Chino Cultural Complex is a modern facility with multiple performance spaces: a theater hall seating 780 people, a concert venue for 300, and a 200-square-meter rehearsal studio. These spaces accommodate different types of events and exhibitions throughout the year.

The facility was developed through collaborative planning between city officials and local residents from the start. This partnership shaped it as a community-centered venue rather than a top-down institution.

The complex regularly presents theater productions, art exhibitions, and educational programs that connect regional traditions with contemporary work. Visitors experience how local heritage and modern artistic expression share the same spaces and audiences.

The complex opens at 9 AM with regular closing at 8 PM, extending to 10 PM on event days. Adequate parking is available with 258 spaces, making car access straightforward.

The complex houses the Jomon Art Project, which explores prehistoric cultural elements from the region. This connection to ancient times creates a meeting point between archaeological heritage and current artistic practice.
