Yamato International Tokyo Headquarters is a modern office building in Ota featuring nine floors wrapped in aluminum panels. Inside you will find office spaces, a cafeteria styled as an American diner, and photography studios dedicated to e-commerce product shots.
The building was completed in January 1987 and initially housed warehouse operations on its lower floors. A major conversion to office spaces occurred in 2002.
Architect Hiroshi Hara integrated geometric patterns on the western facade, reflecting his research across 40 countries during the 1970s.
The building is easy to spot during the day thanks to its distinctive aluminum cladding and sits in an accessible location within Ota. Multiple functional areas spread across different floors, so looking at signage before entering helps you navigate the space.
