Ohafia

Ohafia is an administrative district in Abia State in southeastern Nigeria, extending across roughly twenty-six villages. The Amavo central market serves as its main trading hub, where agricultural products and local crafts change hands.

The area originated from settlements of skilled warriors who established a system of independent communities. Each settlement was governed by a traditional leader called the Eze.
