Mount Stogu

Mount Stogu is a protected mountainous area near Băile Olănești featuring steep slopes covered entirely with forests. The woodland consists primarily of European beech, oak, and spruce trees that blanket the terrain.

The mountain received protection status in 1983 and was formally designated as a nature reserve in 2000. These decisions reflected the growing importance of preserving this alpine landscape.
