Cula Duca, Fortified manor house in Măldărești, Romania.
The Cula Duca stands three levels high with thick stone walls, traditional Romanian architectural elements, and defensive features common to noble residences.
Built between 1812 and 1827 by Gheorghiță Măldărescu, the manor was later purchased in 1910 by politician I.G. Duca who carried out extensive renovations.
The structure belongs to the Măldărești Museum Complex alongside Cula Greceanu and the I.G. Duca Memorial House, presenting regional architectural traditions.
The monument carries the official identification code LMI VL-II-a-A-09811 and underwent preservation work between 1966 and 1967 to maintain its structural integrity.
The manor served as a filming location for multiple Romanian productions, including the 1969 TV series Neînfricații and the 1980 film Drumul oaselor.
