Iberian Gate and Chapel, double entrance gates of Kaliningrad wall
The Iberian Gate and Chapel was a neoclassical structure with Uzorochye-style elements located in Moscow's Tverskoy District. The building combined decorative features with religious and administrative functions at a key entrance to the city.
The gate served as an important city entrance and played a role in Moscow's religious and administrative infrastructure. It was later demolished, as were many other historic gates during urban renewal periods in past centuries.
The structure no longer exists, but its former location can be traced on historical maps of the Tverskoy District. Visitors interested in Moscow's lost architecture can find information about its original appearance in museums and archives.
