Кудепстинский виадук, Highway bridge in Khosta District, Sochi, Russia.
The Kudepstinski Viaduct is a concrete highway bridge in Khosta District that spans the Kudepsta River valley while connecting two sections of the federal A147 route. The structure stretches over the terrain for several hundred meters, creating a continuous passage across the landscape for traffic.
Glavmostostroy construction trust completed this viaduct in October 1975 as part of a road reconstruction initiative between Khosta and Kudepsta. The project represented a significant infrastructure investment to improve transportation connections in the region.
The construction materials and design of the Kudepsta Viaduct were exhibited at the Transport Construction pavilion of VDNKH, receiving a silver medal.
This structure carries continuous vehicle and pedestrian traffic on the federal A147 highway with good road conditions year-round. Visitors crossing on foot should use designated safe areas when available, as vehicular traffic can be heavy during peak hours.
The viaduct intersects with Sukhumi Highway at both its northwestern and southeastern ends, transitioning into Lenin Street in the Resort Town district.
