Парк имени Бестужева-Марлинского

The Bestuzhev-Marlinsky Park features wide pathways lined with cypress trees, magnolias, and plane trees, creating a diverse botanical environment in Sochi.

The park, established in 1910 by local residents Nikolaev and Marar, commemorates Alexander Bestuzhev-Marlinsky, a Decembrist who died in combat near Adler in 1837.

The central monument displays a bronze relief of Bestuzhev-Marlinsky created by local sculptor S.M. Tretyakov, accompanied by a book and pen symbolizing his literary work.

Located at 8 Bestuzheva Street, the park includes multiple recreation zones with benches, children's playgrounds, and a skateboarding area for various activities.

The park earned its local nickname 'Elephant Park' due to its collection of colorful elephant figures distributed throughout the children's play area.
