Парк имени Пушкина

Pushkin Park is a public green space in Lysva surrounded by four streets and designed with walking paths, planted areas, and open grounds. It contains recreational facilities and serves as a focal point for gathering and community activities within the city.

The park was founded in 1908 on vacant land at the edge of Lysva and renamed in 1937 to honor the centennial of Pushkin's death. These two events mark its transformation from an early green space into a recognized urban landmark.

The park is named after Alexander Pushkin and features a wooden pavilion that reflects traditional Russian building style. This structure serves as a gathering point for residents and visitors, giving the place its distinctive local character.

The park is easily accessible and features wide pathways suitable for walking and leisurely visits. Visitors should note that the grounds remain active year-round and frequently host city events.

After World War II, veterans planted a birch alley that substantially expanded the grounds and added a wooded character to the space. This green expansion transformed the location into a generous forest-like park setting.
