Кыновский железоделательный завод

The Kynovsky Iron Works consists of multiple stone buildings including a blast furnace, forging workshops, and administrative structures along the Chusovaya River.

Nikolai Stroganov established the Kynovsky Iron Works in 1761, operating it as a major metallurgical facility until its closure in 1911 due to ore depletion.

The former industrial complex represents the development of metallurgical engineering in the Urals region during the 18th and 19th centuries.

The site opens for guided tours during weekends until 3 PM, with access through the local museum located in the former technical drawing office.

A cast iron lot monument stands near the preserved stone pier where barges once loaded metal products for transport along the river system.
