Momsky nature park

Momsky Nature Park covers mountainous terrain with alpine highlands and low-lying plains throughout the upper Moma River basin. The protected area features varied topography ranging from high mountain passes to deeply carved valleys, creating distinct ecological zones across its expanse.

The nature park was established in 1996 with International Union for Conservation of Nature category II protection status. This designation reflected the region's importance for preserving a significant northeastern Siberian ecosystem.
