The Victor Astafyev Library Museum is housed in a wooden building designed by architect Areg Demirkhanov in 1994 that serves both library and exhibition purposes. It contains over 30,000 books alongside collections of manuscripts, letters, and archival materials that document the author's life and regional literary heritage.

The institution was founded in 1975 within an office of a wood processing facility and moved to its current location in 1994 with help from regional industrial supporters. This relocation allowed the collection to expand and better serve its mission of preserving and sharing the author's literary legacy.

The space honors Astafyev's ties to this village through displays of his personal items and manuscripts that shaped his writing. Walking through, you sense how deeply his work reflected the life and landscape of this Siberian region.

The collection is open to visitors and offers guided tours along with regular literary events and discussions. Allow time to explore both the book collection and the exhibition areas, and check ahead for current programming and hours of operation.

The venue hosts the Yeniseyushka folk ensemble, which has performed Siberian songs since 1999 and represents the only folkloric group formally connected to the library. These musical performances give visitors a direct experience of local traditions that inspired much of Astafyev's storytelling.
