The Victor Astafyev Library Museum combines library services with museum exhibits in a wooden building designed by architect Areg Demirkhanov in 1994.
The institution opened in 1975 in a wood processing factory office and relocated to its current location in 1994 through support from regional industrial companies.
The library museum maintains 31 archival collections containing over 4,800 items, including autographed books and personal documents from prominent Russian writers.
Visitors can access more than 32,000 books, participate in guided tours, and attend regular literary events focused on Astafyev's works and Russian literature.
The Yeniseyushka folk ensemble, established in 1999, performs Siberian songs as the only folkloric group associated with the library museum.
