Nong Bun Mak is an administrative district in Nakhon Ratchasima Province in northeastern Thailand. The area is organized into nine subdistricts and more than 100 villages spread across the region.
The district was formed in 1983 when three subdistricts were separated from Chok Chai district. It received full district status in 1989.
Each of the nine tambons maintains its own administrative organization, preserving local governance traditions and community management practices.
The district headquarters is located in Nong Hua Raet and offers access through several transportation routes. Connections to neighboring districts within the province and to Buriram Province make travel through the region straightforward.
