Haiduan

Haiduan Township stretches across 880 square kilometers of mountainous terrain, reaching elevations of 1,756 meters above sea level in eastern Taiwan.

The territory of Haiduan remained largely untouched by external settlers until the late 19th century, preserving its indigenous character through different governing periods.

The Bunun people of Haiduan perform the Pasibutbut, an eight-part harmonic song connected to agricultural cycles and millet harvest celebrations.

Visitors can access six distinct villages within Haiduan: Guangyuan, Wulu, Lidao, Haiduan, Kanding, and Jiana, each offering accommodation and local experiences.

The Lisong Hot Springs emerge from vertical cliff walls, creating natural thermal pools that require careful navigation through mountain paths.
