Roosevelt Hall, Military education building at Fort Lesley J. McNair, United States.
Roosevelt Hall features red brick walls with granite trim, a domed central pavilion, and two symmetrical wings containing twelve bays each.
The cornerstone for Roosevelt Hall was placed in 1903, and the structure served as the Army War College headquarters from 1907 until 1946.
The interior rotunda displays portraits and busts of military leaders, along with a marble plaque honoring Secretary of War Elihu Root.
The building contains modern classrooms in the east wing and a library occupying the entire west wing for military education programs.
The three-story marble-floored rotunda includes an inner saucer dome with an oculus and balustraded galleries overlooking the central space.
