Roosevelt Hall

Roosevelt Hall features red brick walls with granite trim and a distinctive domed central pavilion as its focal point. The structure has two symmetrical wings, each containing twelve bays that extend along the building's length.

The cornerstone was laid in 1903, and the building became the Army War College headquarters beginning in 1907. For nearly four decades, it served as the primary center for advanced military education before transitioning to other roles.

The interior displays portraits and busts of military leaders whose decisions shaped the nation's defense strategies. These images remind visitors of the people who occupied this building during crucial moments in American history.
