Strand Theater

Strand Theater is a performance venue in Zelienople featuring a 300-seat auditorium with a distinctive horseshoe balcony and restored architectural elements from its 1914 construction. The space includes digital projection systems and a concession area with refreshments for guests.

The building originally served as a grocery store before being converted into a single-screen cinema in 1914. During the silent film era, it presented movies accompanied by live piano music.

The venue hosts live performances, comedy shows, and musical tribute acts that bring the community together for entertainment. These programs reflect how locals have traditionally gathered to enjoy arts and culture in their town.

The venue shows regular screenings of traditional holiday films especially in December and offers affordable refreshments. Located on Main Street downtown, it serves as both a cinema and event space for community programming.
