Established by British hoteliers Tim and Kit Kemp, The Whitby opened as their second New York property following the success of Crosby Street Hotel.
The interior showcases 52 handcrafted baskets from British regions and numerous artworks by Eileen Cooper throughout the corridors and common spaces.
The hotel stands two blocks from Central Park, near the Museum of Modern Art, with easy access to three major airports through public transportation.
Each of the 86 bedrooms features individual design schemes with custom furniture, specific color patterns, and white marble bathrooms.
