Wait Chapel, Religious structure at Wake Forest University campus in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Wait Chapel features a white steeple reaching 213 feet high and stands at the northeastern edge of Hearn Plaza opposite Reynolda Hall.

The chapel, completed in 1956 as the first building on Reynolda campus, bears the name of Samuel Wait, Wake Forest University's first president.

Wake Forest Baptist Church conducted regular Sunday services in Wait Chapel until 2022, incorporating religious traditions into university campus life.

The chapel contains 2,250 seats and includes the Janet Jeffrey Carlile Harris Carillon with 48 bells and the Williams Organ for ceremonies.

Presidential candidates George H. W. Bush and Michael Dukakis participated in a nationally televised debate at Wait Chapel in 1988.
