Intercessors of the Lamb, Christian organization in Ponca Hills, Omaha, United States
Intercessors of the Lamb is a Christian community set on expansive grounds near Omaha in Nebraska. The property holds two large retreat houses, a chapel, and several residential buildings designed to support residents and visiting guests.
The community was founded in 1980 by Mother Nadine Brown after she left the Sisters of the Cross of the Good Shepherd to pursue contemplative spirituality. In 2010, the organization separated from the Catholic Church under Archbishop George Lucas.
The organization conducts annual international workshops focusing on contemplative, intercessory, and spiritual warfare prayer, drawing participants from many countries.
Visitors can participate in daily communal prayer sessions and attend workshops, retreats, and educational programs offered throughout the year. The site is accessible for both individual visitors and small groups seeking spiritual engagement.
The community once drew thousands of lay companions from around the world who engaged in prayer and spiritual support networks. This worldwide connection formed the core of the organization's mission during its most active period.
