Red Flower Rising stands 430 centimeters tall, featuring painted aluminum surfaces that form abstract shapes resembling a growing plant near Broadway Street.
The sculpture, installed outside Milwaukee Public Market in 2007, serves as a memorial to Jeffry A. Posner in the Historic Third Ward district.
This contemporary artwork by Richard Taylor represents the integration of modern public art within Milwaukee's commercial and social spaces.
Visitors can find the sculpture at the intersection of Broadway Street and East St. Paul Avenue, adjacent to the Milwaukee Public Market entrance.
