Construction began in 2013, funded by the Heroic Freedom Fighter MD Rafiqul Islam Welfare Trust to honor martyrs. This marked the start of a project designed to serve both religious and community needs.
The western wall displays inscriptions of the Quran, making Islamic scripture part of the building's physical design in a distinctive way.
The site is accessible from South Pathalia and located in a rural area of Tangail District. Visitors should note that the grounds include social facilities and should respect local visiting times.
The main minaret reaches approximately 451 feet in height, making it the tallest in the country. This remarkable height makes it visible as a landmark from considerable distances away.
