Zoo el-Zagazig

The Zagazig Zoo extends across 60 acres of land, housing various animal species including lions, tigers, elephants, giraffes, ostriches, and monkeys within their enclosures.

Founded in 1984, the Zagazig Zoo became part of the Central Administration of Zoological Gardens in Egypt, marking a milestone in regional wildlife conservation.

The zoo organizes educational programs and live demonstrations to inform visitors about wildlife conservation and the protection of endangered species in Egypt.

The facility welcomes visitors daily from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, offering designated areas for recreation, including cafes, restaurants, and green spaces.

The zoo features a crocodile lake exhibition during special events and celebrations, allowing visitors to observe these reptiles in a controlled environment.
