Little Mell Fell

Little Mell Fell is a mountain in Matterdale, United Kingdom, rising to about 505 meters with soft, grass-covered slopes. A broad ridge extends northward from the summit, creating straightforward routes for walkers of all abilities.

The mountain appeared for the first time in written records in 1279 as Melfel, a name with roots in an ancient language. This name referred to the bare surface features that defined the mountain's appearance through the centuries.
