Darussalam Grand Mosque, Palangka Raya

The Darussalam Grand Mosque spans 40,000 square meters with a central dome measuring 32 meters in diameter and a minaret reaching 114 meters high.

The mosque, established in 1984 by the Foundation of Amal Bakti Muslim Pancasila, underwent substantial renovations between 2011 and 2014 to become Palangka Raya's main mosque.

The mosque structure integrates traditional Dayak design elements through carved shields and specific color patterns incorporated into the architectural features of the building.

The prayer area extends across 2,028 square meters on the second and third floors, while the first floor contains administrative offices for mosque management.

Five distinct domes crown the mosque, with one primary dome surrounded by four smaller ones, creating a symmetrical pattern visible from multiple angles.
