Iwaki Lalamew

Iwaki Lalamew is a food theme park in the port district that features seven specialized fish shops, fifteen gift stores, and twelve restaurants serving meals. The venue focuses on seasonal seafood sourced from local waters.

The site opened in 1997 and became a turning point for tourism growth along the Fukushima coast. This establishment strengthened the local economy by centering on seafood and regional goods.

The site celebrates regional sake production through handcrafted Tokuri bottles filled with Matabei, reflecting how the area values traditional beverage-making as part of its identity.

The complex offers ample parking with over 400 spaces and operates daily for visitors. You can walk through the various shops and restaurants at a leisurely pace and spend as much time as you wish.

A standout product is Mehikari salt chocolate, which incorporates a deep-sea fish with distinctive green eyes into a confection. This unusual creation brings the ocean's mysteries into a sweet treat.
