Ofusa Kannon, Buddhist temple in Kashihara, Japan.

The temple grounds contain 2,300 types of roses across its gardens, combined with traditional Japanese architectural elements and ponds with koi fish.

The temple, established in 1650, originated when a local girl named Ofusa prayed to the Buddhist deity Kannon at this location.

Ofusa Kannon belongs to three spiritual routes: the Yamato Shichifukuhachibotake Meguri, Thirteen Buddhist Sites of Yamato, and North Yamato's Eighty-Eight Sacred Places.

Visitors can reach the temple through multiple public transportation options, with Imai-cho's historic district located within a 15-minute walking distance.

During the annual Wind Chime Festival from July through August, numerous wind chimes adorn the garden paths throughout the temple grounds.
