Excel Ibaraki Sakai represents the evolution of Japanese horse racing culture by introducing a fully cashless betting system through JRA-UMACA cards.

The venue operates from 9:10 AM until 20 minutes after the final race of the day. Visitors should plan their visit around race schedules, as busier days may limit seating availability.

This was Japan's first betting facility to use an exclusively cashless payment system with JRA-UMACA cards. This approach makes transactions faster and reduces the need to handle physical money during visits.
