Ueno German Culture Village, German theme park in Miyakojima, Japan.
A replica of Marksburg Castle stands at the center of this theme park, containing a museum with sections of the Berlin Wall inside.
The park opened in 1993 at the location of a memorial commemorating the rescue of German sailors from a shipwreck in 1873.
The museum presents exhibits about German life, while the restaurant serves traditional German food to visitors from around the world.
Visitors can reach the park via bus routes 9 and A, with a stop at Sea Breeze Casual Mae, followed by a 25-minute walk.
The park features a semi-submersible boat ride named Sea Sky that departs from Hakuai fishing port for underwater viewing.
