Plaza Carso is a mixed-use development with museums, theaters, shops, and residential towers in the Miguel Hidalgo district. The site brings together different functions in one place where people can work, shop, see art, and live.
The development opened in 2011 on former industrial land, converting a shuttered glass manufacturing site into a modern urban center. This project was part of the neighborhood's transformation into a contemporary district.
The complex houses two art museums that attract visitors interested in European masterpieces and contemporary works from across the city. These museums shape the cultural life of the neighborhood and make the place a meeting point for art enthusiasts.
The site has underground parking and is easy to navigate, with different buildings connected through open areas. You can visit multiple venues without going outside, which is convenient in bad weather.
The project was built with sustainable materials and collects rainwater on site for reuse in the complex. This smart design makes it an example of environmentally thoughtful urban development.
