Stockholm Toy Museum, Toy and comics museum in Skeppsholmen, Sweden
Located in underground caverns, the Stockholm Toy Museum displays 40,000 objects including boxcars, teddy bears, comic books, action figures, and collectible dolls.
The museum opened its doors in September 2017, relocating from Tidö Castle to Bergrummet, a network of rock chambers beneath Skeppsholmen island.
With Northern Europe's largest private collection of toys, the museum documents the evolution of playthings through multiple generations of Swedish and international items.
The museum welcomes visitors daily from 10 AM to 5 PM at Svensksundsvägen 5, offering audio guides and interactive quizzes in over 20 languages.
The exhibition space spans 2,500 square meters through winding underground passages, creating an unusual setting for the extensive toy collection.
