Güzeldere Waterfall Nature Park

The 23-hectare reserve includes a waterfall on Bıçkı creek, surrounded by dense forest and rocky cliffs that support diverse plant species.

The Turkish government transformed this natural landmark from a recreational promenade established in 1993 to an official nature park in 2011.

Local residents maintain traditional practices of gathering medicinal plants and celebrating seasonal changes through outdoor activities in the park.

Visitors reach the park via a 28-kilometer drive from Düzce city, with designated parking areas and maintained walking paths throughout the grounds.

The waterfall creates different patterns during seasonal water flow changes, revealing geological formations through its 120-meter vertical descent.
