Güzeldere Waterfall Nature Park

Güzeldere Waterfall Nature Park is a protected reserve featuring a 120-meter waterfall on Bıçkı creek, surrounded by dense forest and rocky slopes. The site covers roughly 23 hectares and shelters diverse plant species within its natural woodland setting.

The site began as a recreational area in 1993 where local people could enjoy outdoor activities. In 2011, it received official protection as a nature park to safeguard its natural resources.

The place holds meaning for local people as a gathering point where visitors connect with natural surroundings and participate in outdoor activities throughout the year. It serves as a social space where seasonal rhythms and outdoor traditions remain part of daily life.

The park is located about 28 kilometers from Düzce city and is accessible by car. Walking paths are marked throughout the grounds, and parking areas are available for visitors.

The waterfall displays varying water flow patterns across seasons, revealing different rock formations along its descent. These changing visual aspects give each visit a distinct character.
